The Office of the Medical Superintendent, Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital, Government of NCT of Delhi, has released an official notification for Walk-in-Interview for Junior Resident (JR) posts on Adhoc basis under the Residency Scheme.

Eligible MBBS candidates can appear directly for the interview as per the schedule mentioned below.

Pay Scale & Tenure

  • Pay Scale: β‚Ή56,100/- per month
    (Level-10 as per 7th CPC)
  • Allowances: As admissible under Government rules
  • Initial Tenure: 89 Days
  • Extension: Extendable up to a maximum of 01 year, subject to satisfactory performance or till regular JR joins, whichever is earlier

Age Limit

  • Upper Age Limit:
    • General: 40 Years
    • SC/ST: 5 Years Relaxation
    • OBC: 3 Years Relaxation

Age is calculated as per Government of NCT of Delhi rules.


Essential Qualification & Eligibility

  • MBBS Degree from a recognized University / Institution
  • Valid Delhi Medical Council (DMC) Registration
  • Internship must be completed by December 2025
  • Internship must not be completed before December 2023
  • Preference will be given to fresh candidates

Selection Process

  • Mode of Selection: Walk-in Interview only
  • Separate merit lists will be prepared for:
    • Fresh candidates
    • Candidates who have already completed one year of residency

Fresh candidates will be considered first.

Candidates must bring:

  • Duly filled application form
  • Original MBBS Degree & Mark Sheets
  • Internship Completion Certificate
  • DMC Registration Certificate
  • Proof of Age (Matric Certificate)
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • Proof of Permanent Address
  • PAN Card Copy
  • Two passport-size photographs
  • One set of self-attested photocopies
