RGNIYD Assistant Professor (Contract) Recruitment 2026 – Walk-in Interview
Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu, functioning under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, has released a Rolling Advertisement for engagement of Assistant Professors (on Contract) for the Academic Year 2025–26.
These appointments are purely temporary and intended to meet immediate academic requirements.

🎓 Educational Qualification & Eligibility
✅ Essential Qualification
- Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in relevant / allied subject from a recognized Indian or foreign university.
✅ NET / PhD Requirement
Candidates must have:
- Qualified UGC NET / CSIR NET / SLET / SET,
OR
- Ph.D. awarded as per UGC Regulations, 2018 (with applicable exemptions for candidates registered before 11 July 2009, subject to prescribed conditions).
🌍 International Qualification
- Ph.D. degree from a Top-500 ranked foreign university (QS / THE / ARWU) is also acceptable.
💰 Remuneration & Tenure
- Consolidated Salary: ₹52,000/- per month
- Tenure: 11 Months
- No DA, HRA, or other allowances
- No claim for permanent appointment
