Nagaland University, Kohima Campus, under the School of Engineering & Technology (SET), has invited applications for 4 Intern positions for a short-term project-based engagement under the Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) Internship Programme. The recruitment is for the IKS-approved project titled “Documentation of Nungbi Pottery: A Traditional and Indigenous Natural Black Pottery Fabricated by the Hilly Tribal People of Manipur in the Ukhrul District.”

This internship opportunity is ideal for graduates, especially those with a background in Agricultural Engineering, who are interested in fieldwork, documentation, and cultural heritage research.

📘 Project Overview:

The internship is part of a project funded by the IKS Division, Ministry of Education, Government of India. The focus is to document the traditional knowledge and practices involved in the making of Nungbi Pottery, a rare and indigenous black pottery tradition unique to Manipur’s Ukhrul district.

📝 Important Instructions:

·        Bring original documents and one set of photocopies supporting educational qualifications and work experience.

·        No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
