Age Limit (as on 19 January 2026)

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 38 Years

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: +5 years
• OBC: +3 years
• PwBD: +10 years

Educational Qualification

• Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).
• Must have NET/SLET/SET qualification OR
• A Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009/2016 (NET exempted).
• Ph.D. from a top-500 globally ranked foreign university is also acceptable.

Domicile Requirement:
Must be a permanent resident of Manipur and able to speak Manipuri/Meitei Lon or a tribal dialect.
