Short Information : The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) I 2026 Notification (Advt. No. 4/2026 CDS-I). A total of 451 vacancies have been announced across the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), and Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) for both men and women.
Eligible candidates can apply online from December 10 to December 30, 2025 (till 6:00 PM) at the official UPSC portal.

To apply for CDS I 2026, candidates must complete two stages:
🔹 Step 1: One-Time Registration (OTR)
Create your One-Time Registration (OTR) profile at the UPSC portal to generate a Universal Registration Number (URN).
🔹 Step 2: Fill the CDS I Common Application Form (CAF)
Use the URN to log in and complete the CDS I application by:
1️⃣ Filling personal & educational details
2️⃣ Selecting preferred academies
3️⃣ Uploading live photograph, signature, and photo ID
4️⃣ Paying the required fee
5️⃣ Submitting the application
6️⃣ Downloading the confirmation page
