Naval Ship Repair Yard Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2025
Educational Qualification:
- ITI Trades: 10th pass with ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in the relevant trade.
- Non-ITI Trades (Crane Operator Overhead, Forger & Heat Treater): 10th pass.
- Non-ITI Trade (Rigger): 8th pass.
Note: Candidates must convert CGPA/grades to percentage as per their board norms.
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 14 years (non-hazardous trades)
- Minimum Age: 18 years (hazardous trades)
- Age relaxation applicable as per government norms.

Naval Ship Repair Yard Apprentice Selection Process 2025
The selection process for NSRY Karwar and Naval Aircraft Yard Goa will include the following stages:
1. Shortlisting of Applications: Based on marks in ITI, 10th, or 8th (as applicable).
2. Written Examination:
o Held in January 2026 at Karwar.
o OMR-based test of 100 marks (Maths – 35, Science – 35, GK – 30).
o Duration: 2 hours.
o No negative marking.
3. Final Merit List: Based on written test marks (separate lists for Karwar and Goa).
4. Document Verification & Medical Examination.

2. Ensure Aadhar details (name, DOB, father’s name) match the SSC/8th certificate.
3. Click on Candidate Login/Register and complete the registration.
4. Activate your profile using the link sent to your registered email ID.
5. Log in and complete the profile with educational and trade details.
6. Download the “Candidate Profile” and attach the following documents:
o 8th/10th/ITI mark sheets
o Aadhar card
o Passport-size photograph
o Caste/Disability certificate (if applicable)
