Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released a notification for the recruitment of 2570 vacancies under CEN 05/2025. The posts include Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA). Eligible candidates can apply online from 31 October 2025 to 30 November 2025.

Vacancy Details

• Total Vacancies: 2570

• Posts: Junior Engineer (various branches), DMS, CMA

• Pay Scale: Level-6 of 7th CPC (Basic Pay ₹35,400 + allowances)

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (relevant branch) from a recognized institution.

• For CMA posts: Bachelor’s degree in Science with Physics & Chemistry as subjects.

Age Limit (as on 1 January 2026):  Age Calculator

• Minimum: 18 years

• Maximum: 36 years

• Age relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per government rules.

Application Fee

• General / OBC / EWS: ₹500

• SC / ST / PwBD / Female: ₹250

Fee Refund after appearing in CBT Stage-I

• General: ₹400

• Others: ₹250

Selection Process

1. Computer Based Test (CBT) Stage-I

2. Computer Based Test (CBT) Stage-II

3. Document Verification

4. Medical Examination

Final selection will be based on performance in CBTs and document verification.
