FRI Dehradun Recruitment 2025 – Walk-in Interview for Information Officer & Data Entry Operator

Forest Research Institute (FRI), Dehradun, under the Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education (ICFRE), has released an official notification for Walk-in Interviews to recruit Information Officer and Data Entry Operator on a purely temporary basis under the EIACP-FRI Project.

The interviews will be held on 27 November 2025 at Forest Research Institute, Dehradun.

Vacancy Details

1. Information Officer

• Vacancy: 01

• Project: EIACP-FRI

• Duration: 03 months

• Fellowship: ₹42,000 per month

• Essential Qualification:

  • Graduate in Science OR equivalent

  • Good knowledge of computers

  • PG Diploma in RS/GIS with 2 years relevant experience

2. Data Entry Operator

• Vacancy: 01

• Project: EIACP-FRI

• Duration: 03 months

• Fellowship: ₹16,000 per month

• Essential Qualification (any one):

  • Graduate with good knowledge of computer technology

  • XII passed + good computer knowledge + 2 years experience

  • GSDP Certified Youth

Age Limit (as on 01/06/2025)

Relaxations:

• SC/ST / OBC / Women / Physically Handicapped: +5 years

Walk-in Interview Details

General Conditions

1. Fellowship will follow ICFRE rules and does not guarantee employment after completion.

2. Candidates who have already completed 4 years as RA/SRF/SPF/JRF/JPF are not eligible.

3. PhD period and teaching experience will not count as research experience.

4. Candidates employed elsewhere must bring NOC.

5. FRI reserves the right to increase/decrease posts or cancel the recruitment.

6. In case of discrepancy, the English version of the advertisement will be considered final.
