IISER Kolkata Project Assistant Recruitment 2025 – Walk-in Interview for 1 Post
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Kolkata has released an official notification for a Walk-in Interview to recruit 1 Project Assistant under a DST-funded project titled “Bioremediation and recycling of parboiled rice-mill waste-effluent for sustainable hydroponics and indigenous fisheries by women.”
The position is purely temporary and will be filled based on performance in the interview.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
Any one of the following:

Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / MVSc, OR

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology / Medicine
from a recognized University.
Desirable:
Experience in bioremediation, microbial work, environmental studies or related fields.

Project Background
