NABARD Grade A Recruitment 2025 for Assistant Manager Posts (RDBS / Legal / P&SS)

NABARD, an apex institution of the Government of India, has published the detailed advertisement for the recruitment of Assistant Managers (Grade ‘A’) in its Rural Development Banking Service (RDBS), Legal Service and Protocol & Security Service (P&SS). Interested and eligible candidates can apply online only within the specified window.

🗓 Important Dates

Application Start Date: 08 November 2025
Last Date to Apply Online: 30 November 2025
Preliminary Exam (Phase I): 20 December 2025
Admit Card for Preliminary Exam: 12.12.2025
Main Exam (Phase II): 25 January 2026 (for RDBS & Legal streams)
Psychometric/Interview Stage (Phase III): Dates will be notified later
Note: All dates subject to change as per NABARD’s discretion.

Total Vacancies: 91 posts (across RDBS / Legal / P&SS)
Discipline-wise & Category-wise distribution available in detailed notification (Table I).
PwBD reservation: 7 posts horizontally across categories.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 01 November 2025):

21 to 30 years (born not earlier than 02-Nov-1995 and not later than 01-Nov-2004).

Age relaxation as per govt rules (OBC +3, SC/ST +5 years etc.).

Educational Qualification:

Varies by stream/disciple. For RDBS streams, a relevant graduate or professional qualification in respective disciplines (Finance/Chartered Accountant/Company Secretary/Scientific/Technical etc.).

Legal service: LLB. P&SS: Ex-servicemen with required commissioned service and discipline experience.

💵 Application Fee

General / OBC / EWS: ₹700 (application) + ₹150 (intimation) = ₹850 (exclusive of GST)
SC / ST / PwBD: Application fee Nil, only intimation charge ₹150
Payment mode: Online (Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI) through payment gateway.

📝 Selection Process

Phase I – Online Preliminary Exam (for all streams)
Phase II – Online Main Exam (for RDBS & Legal)
Phase III – Psychometric Test and/or Interview (for eligible streams)
Document Verification & Medical Fitness
Merit list and final selection will be based on performance in above phases, discipline-wise cut-offs and eligibility verification.

🧾 Pay, Allowances & Service Conditions

Starting basic pay: ₹44,500 per month
Estimated gross emoluments: Approximately ₹1,00,000 per month (including allowances) for Assistant Manager Grade ‘A’ at Mumbai headquarters; actual may vary by posting and location.
Selected candidates will be on probation for 2 years (or as decided) and will be required to serve anywhere in India. They will be governed by NABARD’s service rules (National Pension System etc.).

Register with valid email ID & mobile number, fill online form, upload required documents (photo, signature, left thumb print, handwritten declaration, category certificate if applicable) as per specifications.
Pay application/ intimation fee (as applicable).
Download and save the confirmation page and payment receipt for future reference.

Apply only once for one discipline; multiple applications may lead to cancellation.
Ensure eligibility (age, education, discipline) before applying. Ineligible candidates will be disqualified at any stage.
Keep scanned copies of identity, qualification certificates, category / PwBD certificates ready in prescribed format.
All communications (admit card, exam centre, results) will be through NABARD’s portal only; no offline notifications will be sent.
Candidates must produce original documents at the time of joining.
Give preference of exam centres carefully; NABARD may change centres/shift/reschedule.
