Assam Police Safai Karmachari Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 112 Posts

State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam has released a notification for recruitment of Safai Karmachari in Assam Police, Assam Commando Battalions, Fire & Emergency Services, and DGCD & CGHG. A total of 112 vacancies are to be filled through an online application process. Selection will be based on Medical Test, Physical Standard Test (PST) and Trade Proficiency Test (TPT). No application fee is required.

🎓 Educational Qualifications

• Minimum: Class VI passed from a recognized school
• Maximum: HSSLC / Class XII passed
• Additional Weightage (5 Marks):
• Training Certificate from Sector Skill Council (SSC), OR
• Minimum 1 year work experience certificate from registered NGO / Municipality / Govt Department

Selection Process & Test Scheme

The recruitment process consists of the following stages:

• Medical Examination
• Physical Standard Test (PST) – Qualifying only
• Trade Proficiency Test (TPT) – 50 Marks

Final Merit List:

• Based solely on Trade Proficiency Test marks
• Minimum Qualifying Marks: 33%
• In case of tie:
  1️⃣ Older candidate ranked higher
  2️⃣ If DOB same, taller candidate ranked higher

🔹 Preference: Candidates traditionally engaged in Safai work will get up to 25% preference.

📏 Physical Standards (Summary)

Height (Minimum):

• General / OBC / MOBC / SC
• Male: 160 cm | Female: 150 cm
• ST (P) / ST (H)
• Male: 158 cm | Female: 147.5 cm

Chest (Male only):

• General / OBC / SC / ST (P): 80 cm + 5 cm expansion
• ST (H): 77 cm + 5 cm expansion
