Eligibility Details:

• B.A, B.A (Hons.), BBA, BFA, B.Com (Hons.), BSW

• Passed 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.

• B.Sc, B.Sc (Hons.)

• Passed 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) subjects.

• Vocational (BCA, BBA, BMC, Biotechnology, Functional English, Environmental Science)

• Passed Intermediate (10+2) in the relevant stream with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.

• B.Lib.I.Sc, LLB, B.Ed

• Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university. [Specific percentage requirements may apply; refer to the official notification]. For B.Ed, a Master's degree in Science/Social Science/Humanities/Commerce with 50% aggregate may also be eligible.

Selection Criteria: The selection for most undergraduate programs (B.A, B.Sc, B.Com) at Patna University is based on the merit of the marks obtained in the Class 12th examination. However, for programs like BFA, B.Lib.I.Sc, BCA, BBA, BMC, Biotechnology, Functional English, and Environmental Science, admission will be based on the marks obtained in the Intermediate or +2 examination. For B.Ed and potentially other professional courses, entrance tests like BEET/BLET may be conducted.
