🎓 Eligibility Criteria for BSSRV Recruitment 2025
Educational Qualification (Both Posts)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce or any stream.
- Minimum 6 months Computer Diploma/Certificate from a Govt.-recognized institute.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Internet, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
Desirable Qualification
Office Assistant
- English typing speed 35 WPM (10500 KDPH).
- Experience in higher educational institutions.
Junior Assistant
- Work experience in higher educational institutions.
Age Limit (as on 04-01-2026)
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST: +5 years (45 years)
- OBC/MOBC: +3 years (43 years)
- PWBD: +10 years
Age proof will be accepted only from HSLC/HS/College Admit Card or Certificate.

- Pay Scale: ₹14,000 – ₹60,500

Selection will be conducted in three phases:
Phase-I: Screening Test (100 Marks)
- OMR-based MCQ paper
- General Studies: Current Affairs, Assam & Indian History, Economy, Polity, Geography
- Numerical & Mental Ability
- Assam Literature, Culture, Sports, Books, Authors
Phase-II: Written Test (100 Marks, 2 Hours)
- General English: 50 marks
- Office Procedure & General Administration: 25 marks
- Precis Writing, Drafting & GK: 25 marks
Phase-III: Computer Test + Interaction (100 Marks)
- Computer Practical Test: 50 marks
- Academic Credentials: 50 marks
Final Merit = Phase-II + Phase-III scores.
