NIA Recruitment 2025 – Junior Translation Officer & Junior Secretariat Assistant Posts

National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA), Jaipur, a Deemed-to-be University, has released Vacancy Notification No. 2/2025 inviting online applications only from eligible Indian citizens. Applications are invited for Junior Translation Officer (Deputation/Short-Term Contract) and Junior Secretariat Assistant (Direct Recruitment) posts.
Applications must be submitted online through nia.nic.in within the prescribed dates.

Educational Qualification & Experience

▶ Junior Translation Officer

Mode: Deputation / Short-Term Contract

Essential Qualifications

• Holding analogous post on regular basis in parent cadre/department AND
• Master’s Degree from a recognized University in:
• Hindi with English as compulsory/elective subject
  OR
• English with Hindi as compulsory/elective subject
  OR
• Any subject (except Hindi/English) with Hindi medium & English as compulsory/elective subject
  OR
• Any subject (except Hindi/English) with English medium & Hindi as compulsory/elective subject
  OR
• Any subject with both Hindi & English as compulsory/elective subjects

AND

• Recognized Diploma/Certificate in Translation (Hindi ↔ English)
  OR
• Minimum 2 years translation experience (Hindi ↔ English) in Central/State Government Offices or PSUs.

▶ Junior Secretariat Assistant

Essential Qualifications

• 12th Pass from a recognized Central/State Board

Typing Skill

• 35 WPM in English OR 30 WPM in Hindi
• Corresponding to 10,500 / 9,000 KDPH on computer

Computer Knowledge

• MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, etc.

Age Limit & Relaxation

• Junior Secretariat Assistant: Maximum 27 Years
• Junior Translation Officer (Deputation): Maximum 56 Years

🔹 Age Relaxation

• SC / ST / Central & State Govt Employees – 5 Years
• OBC – 3 Years
• PwD – 10 Years
• Ex-Servicemen – As per Govt of India rules
• Upper age limit not applicable to regular employees of NIA, Jaipur.

Pay & Allowances

• Pay scales as per 7th CPC
• Usual Central Government allowances admissible at Jaipur
• New Pension Scheme (NPS) applicable

Selection Process

• Preliminary Test (if required)
• Mains Examination (if applicable)
• Skill Test / Interview
• Final selection based on performance as notified on the NIA website.

• ₹2,000/- – SC / ST / EWS

• No application will be accepted by post, email or in person.
