Short Information : The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru has officially released the NIMHANS Recruitment 2026 Notification on 30 December 2025. NIMHANS Apply Offline 2026 – How to Apply
Candidates must apply offline only. Applications submitted online will not be accepted.
Steps to Apply
1. Download the notification & application form (Annexure-II) from the official website.
2. Pay the application fee via SBI Collect.
3. Fill the application form carefully in BLOCK letters.
4. Attach self-attested copies of all required documents.
5. Enclose:
o Fee payment proof (Annexure-VII)
o PUBMED details (Annexure-VIII)
o NOC (Annexure-V), if applicable
6. Send the completed application to:

NIMHANS Eligibility Criteria 2026
Age Limit
- Age will be as per NIMHANS / Government of India rules
- Relaxation applicable for SC / ST / OBC / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen / Govt employees
Educational Qualification & Experience
- MD / DM / MCh / DNB / PhD as applicable
- Teaching & research experience as prescribed in Annexure-I
- Degrees must be from recognized institutions
Category Certificate Validity
- OBC-NCL & EWS certificates must be issued between 01-04-2025 to 31-01-2026
- Certificates must be digital with QR code

NIMHANS Salary 2026
Selected candidates will receive salary as per 7th Central Pay Commission:
- Pay Level: Level-12 to Level-14
- Additional allowances as per NIMHANS / GOI norms
