Short Information : The Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS) has released an official notification for recruitment to various posts including Research Officer, Research Assistant, Medical Laboratory Technologist, and Laboratory Attendant on direct recruitment basis. Eligible candidates can submit offline applications within 60 days from publication in Employment News dated 31.01.2026

Eligibility Criteria

🔹 Research Officer (Siddha)

• PG Degree in Siddha from NCISM recognized institution
• Enrolment in Central/State Register of Siddha
• Age: Not exceeding 40 years

🔹 Research Assistant (Chemistry)

• Degree + 2 years experience
  OR PG Degree in concerned discipline
• Age: 30 years

🔹 Medical Laboratory Technologist

• Bachelor Degree in Medical Laboratory Science
• 2 years experience
• Age: 35 years

🔹 Laboratory Attendant

• 12th with Science
• Desirable: Computer certificate
• Age: 25 years

Eligibility reckoned as on 01.01.2026

Application Fee

• ₹300 via Demand Draft in favour of Central Council for Research in Siddha, Chennai
• SC/ST/PwBD – Exempted
• Fee non-refundable

Selection Process

• Shortlisting based on qualification
• Written Test (for all posts)
• Interview (for Research Officer)
• Venue: CCRS HQ, Tambaram Sanatorium, Chennai
