The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has invited online applications for the 11th Food Analyst Examination (11th FAE) 2025. This examination is conducted for certification of eligible candidates as Food Analysts under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. Candidates possessing prescribed educational qualifications and minimum 3 years’ experience in food analysis can apply online through the official examination portal.

Eligibility Criteria for 11th FAE 2025
Essential Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess Bachelor’s / Master’s / Doctorate degree in any of the following disciplines:
- Chemistry
- Biochemistry
- Microbiology
- Dairy Chemistry
- Agriculture Science
- Animal Science
- Fisheries Science
- Biotechnology
- Food Safety
- Food Technology
- Food & Nutrition
- Dairy Technology
- Oil Technology
- Veterinary Sciences
➡ Degree must be from a recognized Indian university or Institution of Chemists (India) (Food Analyst section).
Essential Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in analysis of food
- Experience must be gained after obtaining the minimum qualification
- Experience in recognized laboratories / research institutions only
- Experience during academic programmes (PG / PhD) will not be counted
Age Limit
- No upper age limit for appearing in 11th FAE 2025
