The examination is UGC-accredited and will be conducted in offline (OMR-based) mode across multiple exam centres in Himachal Pradesh.

- General / EWS: Master’s Degree with 55% marks
- SC / ST / OBC (Non-Creamy) / PWD of HP: 50% marks
- Final-year PG candidates: Eligible (provisional)
- PhD holders (completed before 19-09-1991): 5% relaxation
- Age Limit: No upper age limit
