CSIR-IICT Hyderabad Recruitment 2025 for Technician-I Posts

CSIR–Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad has released Advertisement No. 05/2025, inviting ONLINE applications from eligible Indian citizens for the post of Technician (1) in various trades under Group II(1).
The institute is a premier CSIR laboratory working in chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, and multidisciplinary research.

Applications open on 01 December 2025 and must be submitted online by 30 December 2025 (11:59 PM).

🎂 Age Limit (as on 30.12.2025)

• Maximum Age: 28 Years

Age Relaxation (as per Govt. of India rules)

• SC/ST: +5 years

• OBC (NCL): +3 years

• PwBD: +10 years (13 years for OBC, 15 years for SC/ST)

• Widows/Divorced/Judicially Separated Women: Up to 35 years (40 years for SC/ST)

• Ex-Servicemen: As per Govt. rules

• Government/CSIR Employees: +5 years

🎓 Educational Qualifications

Minimum Qualification for All Trades:
SSC/10th Standard with 55% marks + One of the following:
✔ 3 years relevant work experience
OR
✔ 2 years full-time apprentice training
OR
✔ ITI / National/State Trade Certificate in relevant discipline

1️⃣ PHTH01 – Physiotherapist (Female)

Eligibility:

• SSC with Science + 3 years experience in physiotherapy OR

• SSC + 2 years apprentice training in physiotherapy OR

• SSC + ITI/Trade Certificate in Physiotherapy

Job Role:

• Assist doctors and senior physiotherapists

• Provide physiotherapy to patients, operate equipment

• Work in shifts

2️⃣ MLTC02 – Medical Lab Technician

Eligibility:

• SSC with Science + 3 years experience in medical labs OR

• SSC + 2 years apprentice training as Medical Lab Technician OR

• SSC + ITI/Trade Certificate in Medical Lab Technology

Job Role:

• Sample collection & diagnostic testing

• Operate lab equipment

• Shift-based duties

3️⃣ NSMW03 – Technician (General Nursing/ANM) [Female]

Eligibility:

• SSC with Science + 3 years nursing experience
  OR

• SSC + 2 years apprentice training as nurse
  OR

• SSC + ITI/Trade Certificate in ANM

Job Role:

• Assist medical officers

• Provide inpatient & outpatient nursing services

• Operate patient-monitoring devices

4️⃣ PHMC04 – Technician (Pharmacy)

Eligibility:

• SSC with Science + 3 years pharmacy experience
  OR

• SSC + 2 years apprentice in Pharmacy
  OR

• SSC + ITI/Trade Certificate in Pharmacy

Job Role:

• Assist dispensary team

• Manage drug stocks and pharmacy operations

• Shift duties if required

5️⃣ CAHA05 – Technician (Catering & Hospitality / Food & Beverages / Guest House)

Eligibility:

• SSC with Science + 3 years experience in catering/guest house
  OR

• SSC + 2 years apprentice as Catering & Hospitality Assistant
  OR

• SSC + ITI/Trade Certificate in Catering & Hospitality Assistant

Job Role:

• Support canteen/guest house operations

• Assist in official meetings & catering

• Work beyond normal hours if required

💰 Application Fee

• General / OBC / EWS: ₹500 (Online via SBI Collect)

• SC / ST / PwBD / Women / CSIR Employees / Ex-Servicemen: No Fee

🧪 Selection Process

Selection will be based on:

1. Trade Test

(Qualifying only)

2. Written Examination (OMR/CBT)

Total Questions: 150
Total Time: 2 Hours 30 Minutes

Paper-wise Pattern

Final merit is based on Paper II + Paper III only.
