Assistant Registrar (Finance & Accounts) Post – Walk-in on 7th November

Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Bhopal, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has released an official notification for recruitment to the post of Assistant Registrar (Finance & Accounts) on a contractual basis.

Eligible Indian nationals with strong financial management and accounting expertise can apply for this position. The appointment will be purely temporary for 11 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and institutional requirements.

IIIT Bhopal Recruitment 2025 – Overview

Educational Qualification

• Essential:
  Postgraduate Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade with an excellent academic record from a recognized university.

• Desirable Qualifications / Experience:

  • Professional qualification in Finance & Accounts such as MBA (Finance), CA, or ICWA.

  • Knowledge of Government Finance and Accounts Rules (GFR), fund and subsidiary rules, audit protocols, and tax regulations.

  • Experience in budget preparation, expenditure monitoring, and variance analysis.

  • Familiarity with payroll processing, PFMS, GEM, and CPPP.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software.

  • Prior experience in preparation of annual accounts and balance sheets will be an advantage.

• Oversee accounting, budgeting, procurement, and fund management functions.

• Ensure compliance with financial rules, audit standards, and statutory requirements.

• Manage payroll, banking operations, and vendor payments.

• Coordinate financial reporting, data analysis, and internal audits.
