Spices Board Guntur Trainee Recruitment 2026 – Walk-In Test
The Spices Board of India, under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, has released an official notification for the selection of Trainees at its Regional Office and Quality Evaluation Laboratory (QEL), Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.
This recruitment is exclusively for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates and will be conducted through a Walk-in Test.

Stipend & Training Details
- Monthly Stipend: ₹20,000/-
- Training Duration:
- One year from date of joining
- Extendable up to one more year based on performance
- Leave Entitlement: 1 day per month
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- Age is calculated as on the date of the walk-in test
- Age relaxation as per Government of India rules
Educational Qualifications
SRD Trainee
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute
- Computer knowledge is mandatory
Trainee Analyst (Chemistry)
- B.Sc. with Chemistry as one of the major subjects
OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or equivalent
Training Area (For Trainee Analyst – Chemistry)
- Chemical analysis of Spices and Spice Products
Selection Method
📌 Candidates who have already undergone training in any office of the Spices Board are not eligible, irrespective of completion status.
Documents Required at Walk-in Test
Candidates must bring:
- Duly filled and signed Application Form (Annexure-I)
- One passport size color photograph
- Original Certificates for:
- Identity Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID etc.)
- Proof of Age
- Educational Qualification
- Caste Certificate (SC/ST)
- One set of self-attested photocopies of all the above documents
Important Instructions
- The number of trainees is provisional and may vary
- This engagement is purely training-based and does not lead to regular appointment
- The rank list will be valid for two years from the date of publication
- No TA/DA will be paid
