IIIT Ranchi Non-Teaching Recruitment 2026 Notification Out
Short Information : The Indian Institute of Information Technology Ranchi (IIIT Ranchi) has officially released the IIIT Ranchi Non-Teaching Recruitment Notification 2026 (Advt. No. IIITR/RG/2026/Advt./01) to fill 19 regular non-teaching vacancies in Group A, B, and C categories.
Eligible Indian nationals can apply online from 1 February 2026 to 28 February 2026 (11:59 PM) through the Samarth Portal. Candidates are also required to send a hard copy of the submitted application to the institute by 10 March 2026 (5:00 PM).

IIIT Ranchi Non-Teaching Eligibility Criteria 2026
Age Limit (as on 28 February 2026)
- Deputy Registrar: Maximum 55 years
- Assistant Registrar: Maximum 45 years
- Junior Superintendent: Maximum 32 years
- Junior Assistant / Technician: Maximum 27 years
Age Relaxation:
Applicable for SC / ST / OBC-NCL / PwD / Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India norms.
Internal candidates working at IIIT Ranchi on ad-hoc/contractual basis may get relaxation up to 56 years.
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Deputy Registrar: Postgraduate degree (55%) + 5 years administrative experience
- Assistant Registrar: Postgraduate degree (55%) with good academic record
- Junior Superintendent: First-class Bachelor’s degree + 6 years experience
- Junior Assistant: Bachelor’s degree with computer knowledge
- Junior Technician (CSE/ECE): Diploma / B.Tech / ITI with 2 years experience
- Junior Technician (Library): Degree + Diploma in Library Science / 3-year Library degree
IIIT Ranchi Non-Teaching Selection Process 2026
- Group A Posts: Personal Interview (Screening test may be conducted if required)
- Group B & C Posts: Written Test and Skill Test
- Final selection will be based on merit and performance.
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in tests/interviews.
