BSEB Walk-in Recruitment 2025 – Notification for IT/Computer Professionals & Retired Officers

Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), Patna has issued two important notifications (PR 306/2025 & PR 307/2025) inviting eligible IT/Computer Engineers, Professionals, Retired Officers, and Working Officers from Private/Government Institutions for various contractual posts.
The selection will be conducted through Walk-in-Interview on 13 December 2025 at the BSEB Headquarters, Sinha Library Road, Patna.

🎂 Age Limit

For IT/Computer Professionals (Notification 306/2025)

·         Maximum Age: 60 years

·         Contract extension not allowed after 60 years.

For Retired Officers (Notification 307/2025)

·         Retired Candidates: Maximum age 65 years

·         Working (Private/Govt.) Candidates: Maximum age 60 years

·         Initial contract: 11 months (extendable based on performance)

🎓 Educational Qualifications & Experience

Deputy Director (IT) – OFSS / Intermediate

·         ME/M.Tech (CS/IT) with 6 years experience, OR

·         BE/B.Tech/MCA with 8 years experience

·         Experience must be in Govt./Semi-Govt./PSU/Reputed Private institutions.

·         Desirable: Advance Certificate/Diploma in Project Management

Programmer (Intermediate/DMS)

·         B.Tech/B.E (CS), MCA, MSc (IT)

·         Minimum 3–4 years experience in programming, MIS monitoring, data processing, data/business analysis

Project Manager (ERP)

·         BE/B.Tech (CS/IT/Electronics), MCA, MBA

·         Minimum 10 years experience in database management, IT systems

·         Desirable: Project Management Diploma

Networking Administrator

·         BE/B.Tech/BCA/BSc(IT)/MCA/MSc(IT)

·         Minimum 4 years experience

·         Network monitoring, switch & router configuration, firewall security, patches, email/internet filters

Hardware Technician

·         BE/B.Tech/BCA/MCA/Hardware Diploma

·         Minimum 4 years experience

·         Computer system maintenance, server/firewall installation, AMC experience desirable

Retired / Working Officers (Notification 307/2025)

Controller / Deputy Controller / Deputy Secretary

·         Retired IAS/BAS/Bihar Education Service Officers OR

·         Retired officers from Central/State Govt Examination Boards

Accounts Officer

·         Retired officers from AG office or Govt/PSU

·         OR CA/CMA/MBA (Finance) + 5 years experience

·         Knowledge of Computer & Tally required

Assistant / Section Officer

·         Retired from BSEB / Govt office

·         Working officers deputed from Govt department also eligible

💰 Monthly Remuneration

IT/Computer Professionals

·         Deputy Director (IT): ₹1,05,000 per month + Vehicle

·         Project Manager (ERP): ₹75,000 per month

·         Programmer (Intermediate): ₹70,000 per month

·         Programmer (DMS): ₹65,000 per month

·         Assistant Programmer: ₹75,000 per month

·         Assistant Programmer (Misc.): ₹70,000 per month

·         Networking Administrator: ₹70,000 per month

·         Hardware Technician: ₹65,000 per month

Additional Benefit:
After every 6 months, 15 days additional remuneration is payable.

Retired / Working Officers

·         For Retired Officers: As per GAD letter no. 10000 (dated 10.07.2015)

·         For Working Govt Officers: Salary as per last drawn from parent department

·         For Private Candidates (Accounts Officer): ₹60,000 per month

·         Vehicle facility for certain posts

·         Contract will be for 11 months, extendable based on performance

·         Contract not extended beyond age limit (Retired: 65, Working: 60)

·         Board’s decision will be final and binding

·         No TA/DA for attending interview

·         Candidates must report by 11:00 AM sharp
