The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune, an Institute of National Importance, invites Indian nationals to attend a Walk-in Interview for the post of Research Associate under a SERB-funded research project.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum Qualification: Ph.D. in Chemistry
- Preference:
Candidates with expertise in:
- Multi-step organic synthesis
- Medicinal chemistry
- Analytical techniques
- Upper Age Limit: 35 years (as on the date of walk-in interview)
- Age relaxation may be considered for highly qualified/experienced candidates with prior approval.
💰 Salary & Tenure
- Consolidated Emoluments:
₹58,000/- per month + 30% HRA
- Tenure:
Initially 6 months, extendable further subject to:
- Continuation of the project
- Satisfactory performance

📄 Documents Required at Interview
Candidates must bring:
1. Duly filled prescribed application form
2. Original documents + one set of self-attested photocopies of:
o Proof of Date of Birth
o Educational certificates & mark sheets (from Class 10 onwards)
o Experience certificates (if any)
o Government-issued Photo ID
3. One recent passport-size color photograph
ℹ️ Important Notes
- The appointment is purely temporary and will end automatically without notice or compensation.
- No claim for permanent appointment or absorption in IISER Pune or the funding agency.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- Candidates may be shortlisted if the number of applicants is large.
- Bringing any form of influence will lead to disqualification.
🔹 Important Instructions
· Appointment is initially for 89 days or till regular appointment, whichever is earlier
· Selected candidates must join within 7 working days
· No TA/DA will be paid
· Candidates must wear proper medical uniform (white apron)
