Short Information : The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) conducts undergraduate admissions to Agriculture and Allied Sciences programmes offered by ICAR-affiliated universities and institutions (Other Than Government Institutions) through CUET (ICAR-UG) 2026.

For the academic session 2026–27, admission to B.Sc., B.Tech and related Agriculture programmes will be done only through CUET (UG) 2026 – ICAR mode, followed by centralized counselling.

How to Get Admission in ICAR UG 2026? (Step-by-Step)

Admission to ICAR UG programmes in 2026 will follow three compulsory stages:

1.    Apply for CUET (UG) 2026 – ICAR UG

2.    Appear in CUET ICAR-UG 2026 examination

3.    Participate in ICAR centralized counselling after CUET result

👉 Without appearing in CUET (ICAR-UG) 2026, no candidate will be eligible for admission to ICAR UG programmes.

CUET (ICAR-UG) 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy all ICAR eligibility conditions:

·         Must have passed Class 12 (10+2) with at least three subjects from:

o    Physics

o    Chemistry

o    Mathematics

o    Biology

o    Agriculture / Inter-Agriculture

·         Subjects chosen in CUET must be the same as studied in Class 12

·         Attempting subjects not studied in 12th class will lead to rejection

·         Candidate must attempt minimum 3 domain subjects

·         Many universities may have additional conditions (age limit, gender preference, etc.)
