ECGC PO 2025 Eligibility Criteria

For Generalist Post

• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
• Candidate must possess a valid degree certificate on or before the registration date.

For Specialist (Rajbhasha) Post

• Qualification:
• Master’s degree in Hindi / Hindi Translation with English as a core or elective subject at the bachelor’s level OR
• Master’s degree in English with Hindi as core/elective subject OR
• Master’s degree in any discipline with English and Hindi as core/elective subjects OR
• Master’s degree in both English and Hindi/Hindi Translation.
• Minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in postgraduation.

Age Limit (as on 01 November 2025)

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 30 Years
• Age Relaxation:
• SC/ST – 5 years
• OBC – 3 years
• PwBD – 10 years

ECGC PO 2025 Selection Process

The selection process for ECGC PO Recruitment 2025 includes:

1.    Online Examination (CBT)

o    Objective and Descriptive Tests

2.    Interview

o    Conducted for shortlisted candidates.

o    Final merit based on combined marks of both stages.

The final merit list will remain valid for one year from the declaration of results.

ECGC PO Salary 2025

Selected candidates will receive an annual CTC of approximately ₹20 lakh (in Mumbai).
