Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB), Gandhinagar has released Advertisement No. 329/2025-26 for recruitment to the post of Junior Pharmacist (Class-3) under the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Gujarat. A total of 321 Increased vacancies will be filled through a competitive written examination. Eligible candidates can apply online through the OJAS portal.

🎓 Educational Qualifications

Candidates must possess any one of the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) OR
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) OR
• Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) with 2 years experience as:
• Junior Pharmacist (Govt./PSU/Board), OR
• Dispenser (Hospital/Dispensary), OR
• Pharmacist / Medical Representative (Pharma Company)

Additional Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of computer applications
• Knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi
• Registration with Gujarat State Pharmacy Council at the time of appointment

📝 Selection Process & Exam Pattern

Examination Method – Revised Scheme

The examination will be conducted as a single-stage competitive examination using MCQ-based CBRT/OMR mode (Computer Based Response Test / Optical Mark Recognition).

The question paper will consist of two parts:

Part-A (90 Marks)

1.     Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation – 30 marks

2.     Quantitative Aptitude – 30 marks

3.     Constitution of India, Current Affairs, Gujarati and English Comprehension – 30 marks

Part-B (120 Marks)

1.     Questions related to the concerned subject and its application – 120 marks

• Total Questions: 210
• Total Time: 3 hours (180 minutes)
• Negative Marking: 1/4 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer
• Provisional Answer Key will be published, objections will be considered, and then the Final Answer Key will be released.
• If any question is cancelled, marks will be distributed on a pro-rata basis.
