Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has released the State Eligibility Test (SET) 2026 Notification for determining eligibility for appointment as Assistant Professor in Universities and Colleges of Himachal Pradesh. The examination is UGC-accredited and will be conducted in offline (OMR-based) mode across multiple exam centres in Himachal Pradesh.

General / EWS: Master’s Degree with 55% marks
SC / ST / OBC (Non-Creamy) / PWD of HP: 50% marks
Final-year PG candidates: Eligible (provisional)
PhD holders (completed before 19-09-1991): 5% relaxation
Age Limit: No upper age limit
