ISRO SAC Scientist Recruitment 2026 Notification Released: Apply Online for 49 Vacancies
Short Information : The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has officially released the ISRO SAC Scientist/Engineer Recruitment 2026 notification on 23 January 2026. The recruitment is being conducted by the Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad, one of ISRO’s premier research centres under the Department of Space.
A total of 49 vacancies have been announced for Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’ and ‘SC’ posts across multiple technical disciplines. Eligible candidates can apply online from 23 January 2026 (10:00 AM) to 12 February 2026 (5:00 PM) through the ISRO Live Register portal and the SAC careers website.

Candidates must apply through the ISRO Live Register portal followed by submission on the SAC careers portal. Applications once submitted cannot be edited.

ISRO SAC Eligibility Criteria 2026
Age Limit (as on 12.02.2026)
- Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’: 18 – 35 Years
- Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (M.E./M.Tech): 18 – 30 Years
- Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (M.Sc): 18 – 28 Years
👉 Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India rules.
Educational Qualification
- Relevant B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc degrees as per post code
- Minimum aggregate marks/CGPA as specified in notification
- Degrees via ODL mode are not accepted for professional courses

Stage 1: Written Test
- Discipline-specific + aptitude sections
- Negative marking applicable (Part-A)

- Final Merit: 50% Written Test + 50% Interview
