Through this recruitment drive, VMC invites online applications for 734 contractual vacancies of Public Health Worker (PHW) and Field Worker (Male) under the Malaria-Free Gujarat Campaign 2026.

VMC Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Public Health Worker (PHW):
- 12th Pass + Government-recognized Sanitary Inspector / MPHW Course
- Computer Basic Course mandatory
- Ex-VMC Health Workers: 10th Pass + relevant course
Field Worker (Male):
- Minimum 8th Pass
- Must know cycling
- Preference to Vadodara residents & health field experience
Age Limit (As on last date)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 45 Years
- Ex-VMC Health Workers: Up to 59 Years
- Age relaxation applicable as per VMC rules
VMC Selection Process 2026
Selection will be purely merit-based out of 150 marks.
There will be NO written exam or interview.
Merit marks will be calculated based on:
- Educational qualification
- Relevant health course
- Computer course
- Vadodara residence
- General work experience
- Health sector experience
- COVID-19 duty with VMC
Final merit list will be prepared category-wise.
