DVC Overman Recruitment 2025 – 16 Contractual Vacancies

Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has released an official notification for the recruitment of Overman (Contractual Basis) for its coal mines and field formations. Online applications are invited from experienced mining professionals having valid DGMS Overman Certificate.
The engagement is purely contractual and applications will be accepted online only through the DVC website.

Educational Qualification & Experience

▶ Essential Qualification

• Diploma in Mining Engineering from a recognized institute
• Valid Overman’s Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS for Coal under CMR-2017 / CMR-1957
• Valid First Aid Certificate issued by DGMS-recognized institute

▶ Experience Requirement

• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience as Overman in Open Cast Coal Mines

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 55 Years
• Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India rules
• Age to be calculated as on closing date of online application

Tenure of Contract

• Initial Period: 5 Years
• Extendable: Up to additional 2 Years based on annual performance review
• Engagement is purely contractual and does not confer any right for regular absorption

Pay & Other Benefits

• Monthly Consolidated Pay: ₹45,000/-
• TA/DA: As per DVC rules for official duties
• Accommodation: May be provided if available (no HRA/FCA)
• Medical Facility: Available only at DVC hospitals (no reimbursement)
• EPF: Applicable as per EPF Act, 1952
• Leave:
• 8 Casual Leave
• 2 Restricted Holiday
• 10 Commuted Leave (with medical certificate)

Selection Process

• Interview / Skill Test
• DVC may conduct additional screening / trade / psychometric tests if required
• Final selection subject to Document Verification & Medical Fitness

• Any DVC Coal Mine / Project / Field Formation or Joint Venture locations across India
