Essential Qualifications & Experience (Highlights)

• Deputy Registrar: Master’s Degree with 55% marks; 5 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar (Level 10) or equivalent in reputed Government/Research/University organizations.

• Senior Technical Officer: M.E./M.Tech. with 5 years OR B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. with 8 years in relevant engineering disciplines.

• Executive Engineer (Electrical): B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering with 8 years of relevant experience.

• HVAC Officer: B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with 15 years’ service in HVAC field; desirable experience in AC/Chiller plants, Building Management & Automation Systems.

• Technical Officer: Master’s in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy with 5 years or Bachelor’s with 8 years in Medical Devices Product Development. Desirable MBA.

• Assistant Registrar: Master’s Degree with 55% marks; desirable qualification in Management/Finance; 8 years of supervisory experience.

• Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical): M.E./M.Tech. with 5 years or B.E./B.Tech. with 8 years of relevant experience.

• Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical/HVAC): Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years or Diploma with 5 years relevant experience with minimum 60% marks.

• Junior Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce with 60% marks and knowledge of computer operations.

Application Fee

• Group A Posts (Sl. No. 1 to 7): ₹1200/-

• Group B & C Posts (Sl. No. 8 & 9): ₹600/-

• SC/ST/PwD and Women Applicants: Exempted from payment of fee.

• Fee is to be paid online through the recruitment portal.

• The fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

• Separate applications and fees are required for each post.

How to Apply

• Apply online only at https://recruit.iitm.ac.in.

• Read the advertisement carefully and ensure that you fulfil the eligibility criteria.

• Upload all required documents (educational qualifications, experience certificates, date of birth, category certificates, etc.) in chronological order.

• Applications without proper documents/experience certificates as per prescribed format will be rejected.

• After successful online submission, download and keep a printout of the application for document verification/test/interview.

• No hard copy of the application needs to be sent to the Institute.

• Candidates in Government/PSUs/Autonomous bodies must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC), vigilance clearance, and last five years’ ACR/APAR at the time of document verification/test/interview.

• All updates regarding test/interview schedule will be communicated via email and posted on the recruitment portal.
