The National Institute of Technology Silchar (NIT Silchar), an Institute of National Importance, has released an official notification inviting applications from Indian citizens for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a DST-sponsored research project in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Educational Qualification

Essential Qualification:

• Postgraduate Degree in Basic Science
  OR
• Graduate / Postgraduate Degree in Professional Course selected through:
• CSIR-UGC NET
• GATE
• Or other national-level examinations conducted by DST / DRDO / IISc / IIT / IISER, as per GoI norms (OM dated 26 June 2023)

Desirable Experience:

• Specialization or background in Mechanical Engineering
