Short Information : Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University (MKBU) has officially released the Teaching and Non-Teaching Recruitment Notification 2026 for 180 vacancies. Eligible candidates can apply online through the Samarth Portal from 29 December 2025 to 22 January 2026.

Teaching Posts

• Professor: Ph.D. + 10 years experience + research publications
• Associate Professor: Ph.D. + 8 years experience + publications
• Assistant Professor: Master’s Degree (55%) + NET/SET/Ph.D. (as per UGC norms)

Non-Teaching Posts (Examples)

• System Analyst: Master’s Degree in Computer-related field (55%)
• Assistant Librarian: Master’s Degree in Library Science (55%)
• Junior Engineer (Civil): Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering + experience
• Assistant / Typist: Any Bachelor’s Degree
• Driver: 10+2 + Valid LMV & HMV License
• Wireman: Diploma/ITI + Experience

• Maximum Age: 35 Years (for applicable non-teaching posts)

• Professor: ₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200
• Associate Professor: ₹1,31,400 – ₹2,17,100
• Assistant Professor: ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400
• Non-Teaching Posts: ₹19,900 – ₹1,67,800 (Post-wise)
