Short Information : The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has officially announced the State Eligibility Test (SET) 2025 notification for the recruitment of Assistant Professor, Librarian, and Sports Officer posts across colleges and universities in Madhya Pradesh. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the official websites — mppsc.mp.gov.in or mponline.gov.in — from 25 October 2025 to 20 November 2025.

This eligibility test will serve as a qualifying examination for teaching and academic positions under MP Higher Education Department.

MPPSC SET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must hold a Postgraduate Degree (or be in the final semester) from a recognized university.
• General/OBC-CL/EWS candidates must have at least 55% marks in PG.
• SC/ST/OBC-NCL (Madhya Pradesh residents)/PwD candidates need a minimum of 50% marks.
• Candidates with a Ph.D. degree who completed their PG on or before 19 September 1991 get 5% relaxation (i.e., 50% marks required).

Age Limit:

• No upper age limit for appearing in the State Eligibility Test 2025.

Selection Process

The MPPSC SET 2025 is an eligibility test conducted in offline OMR-based mode in a single session.

• The exam pattern and syllabus are based on UGC/CSIR-NET guidelines.
• Qualifying candidates will be eligible for recruitment to Assistant Professor, Librarian, and Sports Officer posts in MP colleges/universities.
• Candidates who have already qualified in MP SLET/SET/UGC NET/CSIR NET in the same subject should not apply again.

2.    Click on “Apply Online” under the SET 2025 section.

3.    Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) if applying for the first time.

4.    Fill in personal, educational, and communication details accurately.

5.    Upload scanned copies of photograph, signature, and certificates.

6.    Pay the application fee online.

7.    Submit the form and take a printout for reference.
