All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bathinda, invites eligible Indian candidates for a Walk-In Interview for the post of Project Technical Support-III in the Department of Pharmacology. The position is purely temporary and linked to an ongoing ICMR, New Delhi sponsored project titled: β€œImpact of multipronged interventions targeting healthcare professionals in reducing surgical site infections and identifying the challenges in adoption of these interventions.”

The appointment is initially for one year, extendable annually based on performance, with the project duration being three years. The selected candidate will contribute to patient data collection, follow-up of surgical patients, and analysis of antimicrobial prescription practices.


Post Details

  • Post Name: Project Technical Support-III

  • Number of Posts: 01

  • Tenure: 1 year, extendable till the completion of the project based on annual assessment

  • Monthly Emoluments: β‚Ή30,800/- (Consolidated, second year)

  • Essential Qualification & Age Limit:

    • Three-year graduate in relevant subject/field

    • Minimum three years’ experience

    • Age Limit: 35 years as on the date of the interview

  • Desirable Qualifications / Experience:

    • NET/GATE/CSIR/UGC qualified with research experience in the related field

    • Good knowledge of antimicrobials and stewardship activities

    • Basic knowledge of Excel for statistical testing

    • Experience with REDCap software


Job Profile

  • Data collection of surgical patients (emergency and elective procedures)

  • Follow-up of patients for surgical site infections

  • Interaction with healthcare professionals (surgical team) for follow-up

  • Data analysis and reporting on antimicrobial prescriptions and related outcomes

  • Date: 22nd October 2025

  • Reporting Time: 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM (must report by 11:00 AM)

  • Venue: Department of Pharmacology, Medical College Building, AIIMS Bathinda

  • Originals and self-attested photocopies of educational certificates, experience certificates, and age proof

  • Educational and professional qualifications should be from recognized Boards/Universities and full-time.

  • Experience should be acquired after obtaining the minimum required qualification.

  • Candidates working in government or public sector must provide a No Objection Certificate.
