Assam Rifles Sports Quota Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 95 Rifleman / Riflewomen Posts
Short Information : The Directorate General of Assam Rifles (DGAR) under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has released the official notification for Assam Rifles Sports Quota Recruitment 2026. Applications are invited from meritorious Indian male and female sportspersons for recruitment to the post of Rifleman / Riflewomen (General Duty) under the Sports Quota.
As per Memo No. 1.12016/A Branch (Rect Cell)/2025/1 dated 01 December 2025, the online application process will start from 10 January 2026 and the last date to apply online is 09 February 2026. Interested candidates must submit their application through the official website www.assamrifles.gov.in.

Eligibility Criteria
Sports Qualification – Order of Preference
1️⃣ Represented India in International competition (with Govt. clearance)
2️⃣ Represented State/UT in National Championships (Top 3 position)
3️⃣ Represented University in Inter-University competition (Top 3)
4️⃣ Participation at State/University level without medal
5️⃣ Represented State Schools in National School Games (Top 3)
6️⃣ National Physical Efficiency Award holders
