All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhopal has released an official notification for recruitment to Project Technical Support-III (Statistician) post on a purely temporary and contractual basis under an ICMR-funded research project.
The recruitment is being conducted for the project titled:
“Developing & Implementing Effective Intervention Delivery Strategies of the Anemia Mukt Bharat Programme 2.0 – PRAKASH Project (Precision Driven Response for Anemia Control and Sustainable Health)”

🎓 Essential Educational Qualifications
Candidates must fulfill any one of the following:
1. Graduate Degree in relevant subject/field with 3 years post-qualification experience, OR
2. Postgraduate Degree in relevant subject/field, OR
3. Four-year Graduate Degree in Engineering / IT / Computer Science
Specialization Required:
- Biostatistics / Statistics
💻 Desirable Qualifications
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Working knowledge of statistical software such as:
- Prior experience in data management and analysis in a community-based project
🎯 Job Responsibilities
The selected candidate will assist the project in:
- Data collection, entry, cleaning, and management
- Statistical analysis and interpretation of results
- Designing study tools and determining sample size
- Training and supervision of field workers
- Conducting qualitative interviews
- Micro-planning and quality assurance
- Liaising with government officials
- Financial record-keeping
- Dissemination of study findings
- Any other task assigned by the Principal Investigator
🚗 Mandatory Requirement
- Valid driving license for two-wheeler and car (project travel required)
👤 Age Limit
- Maximum Age: As per notification (age relaxation applicable)
- Age Relaxation:
- SC / ST / OBC candidates
- Ex-servicemen
- Retired Government employees
- Departmental / Project staff
- Research project experience will also be considered for age relaxation
