Educational Qualification

• Trade Apprentice:
  Matric + ITI (2 years) in relevant trade (NCVT/SCVT)
• Technician Apprentice:
  3-Year Diploma in Engineering
  (Minimum 50% marks, 45% for SC/ST/PwBD)
• Graduate Apprentice:
  Full-time Graduation in any discipline
  (Minimum 50% marks, 45% for SC/ST/PwBD)
• Data Entry Operator:
  Class 12th with minimum 50% marks (Skill Certificate required where applicable)

Age Limit (as on 31.12.2025)

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 24 years

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST – 5 years
• OBC (NCL) – 3 years
• PwBD – 10 years

IOCL Apprentice Selection Process 2026

The selection will be purely merit-based:

• Merit list based on marks obtained in ITI / Diploma / Graduation
• No written exam
• No interview
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for:
• Document Verification
• Pre-engagement Medical Fitness Test

IOCL Apprentice Stipend 2026

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 / 1973 and subsequent amendments.

Stipend varies based on trade and qualification level.
